Digital Artefact Ideas

There are so many ideas running through my head right now. Watching past bcm112 students talk about their DA’s kind of gives me anxiety, not gonna lie. Their artefacts are so creative and unique I feel like I couldn’t come up with anything near as good as theirs.

It’s also really hard to come up with ideas that haven’t already been thought of in the past. I currently have two ideas that would be really cool for me to create. Both ideas are mort likely to occur through Instagram.

I am a big advocate for love (cringe, I know), and it would be really cool to see what kind of things people love, and why they love them. It could be a person, a thing, a place, an idea, even a concept. That’s what I think is good about this idea, the fact that this can be so broad and that people can have different meaning or interpretations associated with a certain thing.

My other idea is based on public transport to and from the university. I know plenty of students who make the daily struggle to commute more than 30 minutes just to get to Wollongong. Myself included. This idea will be based more on students who catch the bus and their thoughts and opinions on the system and how it can be improved or changed. From my own personal experience, the bus can be a real pain sometimes, especially since most days its like the Hunger Games to even get on the bus. Everybody pushes and shoves just to get a seat. So basically, I wanna see how students react, and tell their daily struggles of public transport to and from uni.

These are my two ideas in a nutshell. Hopefully I choose one soon and make it a project I am truly passionate about!
